After lengthy negotiations with the French authorities we finally managed to smuggle a match report out of France on the back of a McDonalds burger bun. So far things appear to be going well out there. Apparently noone has been arrested or deported yet. Details are currently hazy on how the French-American liasons are going, although it does appear that the entire team now has muppet names, anyone caught misusing these appellations is heavily fined (ah, discipline at last!).

On the rugby side, "les castors" (really, this is what they should be called, look it up if you don't believe me), are 1-1. Their first match in Paris went well, winning 24-7, but they lost their second game this evening 25-5. Apparently this game should have been theirs, but for a bad ref and a small field (sound familiar anyone?) and was terminated early due to Bill "kermit" Kreamer getting injured (again this sounds spookily familiar). No word on Bill's condition, but from the tone of the email its not serious.

They leave for Montpellier tomorrow. I am sure all our thoughts are with the ladies of Montpellier.....
